great hotel in great location

booked hotel due to it's proximity to grand opera house. Unable to check in early but was able to leave my bags in a secure room..On check in when asked about evening plans and I told them the restaurant I had booked they produced 2 vouchers for a free prosecco there! Used the recommended car park and was able to leave the car there well past check out which I appreciated. All in all a delightful stay.

Misleading Listing and A Poor Breakfast

My stay didn't get off to the best start as I only book hotels with parking and this hotel does not have parking it is built next to an expensive car park that you can get a discounted rate on through the hotel and it felt like the listings on the hotel booking sites are misleading. Room was fine, staff were nice enough but the cooked part of the breakfast was not good, on the second morning I used the waffle machine and that was nice.

Shower drain was very slow to drain and made shower experience unpleasant. Turndown service was very sloppy. I spent ages searching for a clothing item, only to realize, much later, that the bed had been made on top of it. Not ideal for the amount I spent on this room
