We had a lovely stay! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to help us with our luggage, ride arrangements, food deliveries, etc.
The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of food options, and afternoon tea was available every day with snacks and refreshments.
A free laundry service was also provided. The rooms are beautiful, offering a traditional Beijing HuTong experience with modernized decor.
This hotel is also located steps away from a vibrant shopping centre, offering great opportunities to shop for snacks and souvenirs! We would absolutely stay here again
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable. They were a real asset to the hotel. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, everything was perfect. The staff were attentive, the rooms were comfortable, and the location was convenient. We highly recommend this hotel."
We stayed at this wonderful hotel in the middle of Beijing for 12 days. The staff at the hotel are second to none. Very friendly and helpful. They will help you order take away, taxis and advise where to go.
They will help you even when you're out and about and order a taxi to pick you up. Nowhere have i seen this level of care and service. Certainly not from a hotel. They felt like family rather than staff.
Our room was nice and spacious for a family of 5 with fast wireless internet. They supply you with most of the toiletries you will need. You will only need to bring special ones otherwise its there. A variety of slippers as well.
There are so many varieties of shop all around this hotel from literally the first step outside. Its a treasure trove of a shopping experience.
The land marks like Forbidden City and Great Wall are a short taxi away and the fair are so affordable.
Holiday of a lifetime.
I had an incredible stay at this charming boutique hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their hospitality was warm, genuine, and attentive without being overbearing.
The location is perfect—tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and private, yet still within walking distance to great restaurants, shops, and local attractions.
Our room was beautifully designed with thoughtful touches, super comfortable bedding, and a spotless bathroom. It had that perfect blend of cozy and elegant.
And the food—absolutely fantastic! Every breakfast felt like a treat, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a great variety of options.
This place really has it all: comfort, character, and top-notch service. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
Thank you, Aunties!
Exceptional experience from start to end. Very friendly and helpful staffs, especially, 潘潘, 丽稳, 小闫 and 燕姐。Super impressed! Great location. Delicious breakfast and drinks. The whole families of 9 were able to relax and enjoy our stay! Will be our first choice in Beijing.
The stay was wonderful. There was great communication with the hotel. They reserved a taxi to pick us up from the airport. When we arrive they explained everything with great detail. Alice help us everyday to organize our trip and help us order taxis. Outside of the hotel there are many food and shopping shops. The food was amazing every day. We were sad to go as we wanted more days im the hotel and to explore the area/
Great experience for Beijing ! A quaint boutique hotel located in one of the Beijing Hutongs, it offered us a unique local flavored experience. The facilities are traditional Chinese, with wooden floors and rustic themed rooms. However, rooms are fully equipped with everything you need. They also have cute little balconies from where you can drink tea while transporting yourself back in time. The staff was the best part. Very nice, always available and catering to our every need. Afternoon tea time was quite endearing. Breakfast was really good, Chinese/western buffet. Overall a very cozy little hotel that will make you feel welcome and comfortable. An experience we will never forget.
Located within walking distance from the subway. Right off really popular hutang that offers a lot of options for food. The hotel is quaint and the staff was amazing. They greated us on arrival even with the pouring rain. Explained all the amenities that were available. The free breakfast had a wide variety of food. Dont skip the dumpling soup for breakfast. The tea time drinks and snacks were amazing. I cannot stress how great the staff was. They even helped arrange transportation to the Great Wall for us.
I often stay at luxury hotels, but I’ve never seen a hotel and room quite like this one. It’s rich in traditional Beijing architectural culture. The room is clean and full of character. The staff are extremely friendly. Everyone is working diligently and professionally. There’s none of the toxic tipping culture you find in the US. The afternoon tea and breakfast are also very fresh. The price is reasonable. Highly recommended!
I had the most incredible stay at this hotel — absolutely stunning, truly a hidden gem. Every detail was perfect, the place itself is beautiful beyond words, and the attention to guests was simply outstanding. Cloe, Alice and the other girl in the reception were exceptional — warm, kind, and always going the extra mile to make sure everything was flawless. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything was a 10/10. I’ll definitely be coming back! Wow wow wow
Outstanding service, free breakfast and tea break snacks (6 plates of snacks wow). They even helped us to book a taxi to the hotel when we were leaving. Place is really quaint and lovely. Would give a 10 out of 5 for service if I could.
Amazing location, lovely room, each room has it's own roof terrace, don't miss the free afternoon tea- lovely fresh fruit and fresh nuts, better than any nuts I've ever had before. Very tranquil and quiet yet so close to the hutongs. The room was really toasty, beautiful wooden ceiling. The staff were so helpful, when I needed medication they ordered some to be delivered for me,
I can not imagine that there is a hotel better located in Beijing. Staying right in the middle of the hutongs, this hotel had amazing historical character, lovely staff, breakfast and afternoon tea included, and a free laundry service.
Needless to say I will gladly be back next time I’m in Beijing
Amazing service and beautiful traditional Chinese living

The hotel itself is stunning, offering a nostalgic atmosphere that makes you feel like you're stepping back in time. The breakfast is excellent, featuring a mix of Western and Chinese options, along with complimentary tea time, and there's also a restaurant/bar. While the room we stayed in could use some updates, the friendly and helpful staff, along with the available amenities, more than make up for it. That said, the internet can be inconsistent, both within the hotel and in the surrounding area. The location is fantastic, just steps away from a main pedestrian street with plenty of shops and restaurants. Taxis can be challenging due to the narrow streets that aren't designed for modern transportation, but you are within a short walking distance to a main street and metro stop. I would definitely recommend this hotel, but it’s better suited for a short stay, like a two-night getaway, rather than an extended visit.
Quaint little Hutong hotel right in the heart of the tourist-trap hutong so it was really convenient, tho not sure where the metro station is. Check in was quick and easy and really appreciate that I got the room before the 2pm checkin time. Was delighted with the afternoon tea snacks. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Cleanliness-wise - room was pretty clean except, the room floor was a little dusty. Room has USB and USB-C points by the bed. Will definitely stay here again if I visit Beijing

Excellent location right off the popular shopping street of Nan luo gu xiang. It is a short walk from the subway. (Where it is possible to the airport with two easy transfers).
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and afternoon tea on premises. All makes up for the small inconvenient of an older facility. We picked this place for its traditional setting afterall.
Air-conditioned rooms with washer is very convenient.
Alice and the staff at the hotel were super accommodating and assisted us in every aspect of our stay. The rooms were quaint with modern amenities and the courtyard transports you back in time. It is such a unique property and the team makes you feel like family. I traveled alone with 3 young daughters and they made the trip super memorable for us.
