The bathtub is a real cast iron tub designed for deep relaxing soaks. The living room has 20' ceilings with paneled windows to let in tons of natural light and landscape. Numous skylights also bring in light from above. There is a woodstove hearth constructed entirely from reclaimed bricks from the Bayview area that date back to the early 1950's. Much of the on site furniture is made from regional reclaimed barnwood - such as the herringbone patterned queen bed in the master bedroom. Upstairs there is a cozy loft with a huge king bed fit for the perfect night's rest as well.

This log cabin was built on site in 1975. It was the first home built within Cape Horn Estates in Bayview and sits on a double lot. It was constructed out of old growth cedar. It underwent a comprehensive remodel in 2022 that took over one year to achieve and was completed in May of 2023. The project aim was to keep the rustic authenticity of the location, ambiance, and atmosphere of the cabin while adding some modern enhancements.
