This apartment is convenient to the city center. It’s a 15 minute walk to the train station but if you are traveling with an elderly parent, you may want to consider an Uber. I had understood that the apartment had 2 bedrooms and 1-1/2 bathrooms. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs and a tub with a handheld shower and sink. The toilet is downstairs on the same level as the kitchen and living room. There is a washer on the ground floor/entrance. It is actually 3 levels. We are used to having a toilet in the same room as the bathtub so it was pretty inconvenient for the toilet to be on the level below the tub. Nicolas was a gracious host and made accommodations for us due to our schedule. Overall, it is a great place to stay. I just wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who has trouble climbing stairs.

The size and location were great but the condition of the apartment needs attention. The bed sheets are cheap and the deck had broken boards. No bottled water was provided even with the extreme heat we experienced for the first day. Shampoo and body wash are not provided. Compared to other places we have stayed and considering the price, we were disappointed and would not stay there again.

Appartment is excellent and has everything you need for ur stay in Bayeux. Location is also excellent with everything (tourist office, shops, restaurants, etc) a few minutes walk away.Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Great Place In Bayeux

This was a great location to stay at in Bayeux. Very close to where the tours pick up and lots of shops and restaurants. The place was clean and spacious. Kitchen had enough equipment to cook with. There is also a grill on the deck area. The building manager met us when we arrived and gave us a quick overview of the place. I would use this place again if I am in Bayeux.
