Check in was excellent. Then downhill.
Lady on reception at check in was excellent. Morning service was exactly the opposite. I gave up trying to get breakfast when I was sent downstairs to the toilet! Poor view from the balcony. I had hoped to sit out but the tree view persuaded me not to bother for long.

We were on a 16 day European road trip and stayed here after seeing the DDay beaches. It was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been on, US and abroad. We got there very early in the morning from Paris. They had plenty of parking and held our bags until check in. When we came back to check in they had already put our stuff in the room! Every staff member we spoke to was incredibly kind and welcoming. The room was very very clean and spacious. I didn’t hear any outside noise either. Towel warmer was nice too! Less than a 10 min walk to Gold Beach. I highly recommend staying here.

A lovely old property with great views and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast choices with a comfortable bar/lounge for relaxing after a days sightseeing. Easy walking distance to plenty of restaurants.

Great base for Arrowmanches
A very good Hotel although our room was relatively small and on 3rd Floor. Only for two nights and a 10 min walk to town, very secure parking in the grounds
