Luxury Log Cabin Home at Bass Lake with Air Conditioning, with backup generator

Welcome to our cozy log cabin at Bass Lake. Our cabin was actually featured in Sunset Magazine, and it is a place we have always loved sharing with families and friends.

The cabin sits in Bass Lake Estates right next to the National Forest. It is surrounded by pine trees and has wraparound decks overlooking a year-round creek. You really get that mountain cabin feeling here, but with all the comforts of home.

There are three bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, spread out over three levels. There is also a loft and a queen sleeper sofa, so there is plenty of room for everyone to have their own space.

The kitchen is one of my favorite parts of the cabin. It is large and fully equipped, with knotty alder cabinets, granite counters, a dining table for eight, and additional seating at the kitchen island. We also have a grill and outdoor dining on the deck, which is especially nice when the weather is beautiful.

There are plenty of places to relax, whether you want to sit by the fireplace, watch a movie, play one of the many board games, or just sit outside and enjoy the trees and the sound of the creek. The outdoor fire table is another favorite in the evenings.

The cabin has air conditioning and an automatic backup generator, which is especially nice in the mountains when weather can sometimes cause a power outage.

Bass Lake is just a short drive away, and there is so much to do in the area. You can spend the day boating, fishing, swimming or hiking, visit Pines Village for dinner or ice cream, or head into Yosemite for the day. Then come back to the cabin, have dinner on the deck and relax.

We consider this a family home and ask that our guests treat it that way. It is definitely not a party house. We want families and friends to be able to come here, enjoy themselves, and make some great memories.

We also do not charge a cleaning fee. We simply ask that guests leave the cabin in reasonably good condition. If excessive cleaning is needed after your stay, there may be an additional charge.

Marcie is the most responsive host! The property was immaculate, and every attention to detail was made to make the cabin welcoming. The cabin is as beautiful as the listing photos show. Check in was easy with no hassles. The owners are quick to reply and always helpful. The cabin is beautiful, clean, and well stocked with more than just the basics. The beds are comfortable. The outside spaces are amazing - the propane fireplace and heater made for awesome evenings.

I have to say that this was one of my favorite stays I have had to date. This cabin is absolutely astonishing, and the little details throughout were just impeccable. It was quiet, comfortable, well stocked with everything you need and perfectly located for either a quick walk to the lake or a short drive to the local town. And the communication with the host was as top notch as can be, not only was she informative but wanted to make sure our stay was inviting and pleasant. Wonderful Cabin at Bass Lake

We had a wonderful time at Bass Lake and the Cozy Cabin was more than perfect. The exterior of the log cabin is stunning but nothing compared to the interior. What a beautiful property. Even comes with a soothing babbling Creek you can hear right off the main deck. Marcie was a wonderful host and checked up on us to make sure everything was perfect. We highly recommend this property for those who wish to visit Bass Lake.

Cozy Cabin

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the cozy cabin. From bird watching in rocking chairs on the deck, to taking walks in the peaceful neighborhood, and playing games by the fireplace, this cabin is homey and so relaxing. It is located 30 minutes from Yosemites South entrance, so a day trip was really easy. There is also fun hikes nearby the cabin. Highly recommend staying here!

We loved the cabin. It's beautiful and you have a great view of the forest from the side deck. We saw humming birds, woodpeckers and mountain Jays from our seats at the fire pit. The house is very well appointed which makes for an easy stay. We also enjoyed being so close to Bass Lake. All around great experience!

My family had the best stay! We have been going to Bass Lake for decades and often rent the same homes yearly. This year we tried this home and it was absolutely perfect for all of our needs! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, beds were comfortable, and plenty of parking! Thank you!
