We went during the winter and there was a snow storm so less stuff to do at the resort but still a beautiful place to stay that’s somewhat close to Yosemite, an hour and some change for the drive to the actual park entrance.

My husband and I enjoyed a beautiful room on the lake that was attached to the Ducey’s restaurant and breakfast upstairs. The resort staff welcomed us with a sweet handwritten note, a bottle of wine, two free breakfast tickets and a duraflame log for the fireplace.
