Stay away!!

The entire 4 nights that I stayed here, there was no heat or hot water. The temperature at night got down into the 30's and there was no heat. I work construction and had no way to take a hot shower after working all day. Sent a message to the manager the first day and got no response. Only reason I stayed here was there were limited places to stay in this rural area and I am working nearby. Two other men that work with me called and the manager said Oops we are out of propane because she didn't think it would get that cold that quickly and never remedied the situation!! The bathroom is so small that my knees hit the door when I sat on the toilet. Stay away!!!

The internet signal was terrible in the motel area, tv had no signal. I had two zoom meetings that I had to drive 15 miles to in order to get wifi instead of staying put.

Our reservation was for air conditioned 2 beds room. Upon check-in, it was a double bed instead with no air con. I went to the reception and notified them about the mix-up showing her my reservation indicating that it wasn't what I reserved. She had one cabin available with those options but wanted us to pay the difference. Not sure why we would have to pay for their mistakes. She offered me another room with 2 beds (but still no aircon). But after checking it out it reek smoke smell despite the room being non-smoking. So we reluctantly went to out original room. The room didn't have a screen in the back windows so cross ventilation was problematic to avoid inviting mosquitos inside. As we got settled, I dropped a little bit of water on the floor. After using a paper towel to wipe it up, I noticed that was literally black from the filth on the floor from whipping just a few square inches at the base of the bed. The next morning, getting ready for breakfast, I turned on the switch of the coffee machine and it literality exploded. During all my interaction with the staff I was polite and composed, but really felt unwelcomed and that I was bothering her.

DO NOT STAY HERE.

We had rented a room in the motel. The floors were absolutely disgusting I walked from the bathroom to the bed and my feet were black. Also we had them knocking on our door at 9:15pm asking if someone was here scared us to death. So we packed up our things and went to a hotel. I wouldn’t stay here!!!

Great cabins!

My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) had a great, long-weekend stay m one of the cabins. It was cute, well maintained, and comfortable. Only complaint would be the limited hot water for a shower, as the cabins seem to use a shared hot water tank. Pro tip: shower early in the morning or late at night when nobody else is 😉

This is such a special place. Our cabin is adorable with chairs on a little front porch and all the amenities inside one could want. The bed was super comfortable. We had a fire outside in the fire pit last night. The wood was provided and we enjoyed sitting by the river with a waterfall that flows past the place. This is my kind of glamping at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend the cabin stay. This is our second year and it’s better than last as the pool is open this year and has a new liner. Everything is lovely.
