We had multiple rooms and issues with the a/c in rooms, the tv, plumbing and an ant infestation. The breakfast was good. The location is also good. The waiter at the pool area was excellent. The waiters for dinner not so much. Will probably not choose this property again. I am a frequent traveler to this city and there are better options in the area for less and with better customer service.

property was excellent. Everything was very clingy and organized. Everybody was so friendly. Property is a little bit dated versus the photos however very well kept and maintained close to huge shopping mall literally across the street. You won’t be disappointed.

The Story No Family Should Ever Go Through Crowne Plaza Barranquilla – A Name I Won’t Forget I booked two nights at this hotel for someone who hadn’t seen her children in three and a half years. I planned a surprise – a warm, emotional reunion: A hotel room. The kids waiting. Signs. Hugs. Tears. Everything. Then the airline changed the flight. I reached out to the hotel in time — not asking for a refund, not even a discount. Just human decency. They didn’t reply. I followed up. I called. I begged. Still silence. Meanwhile, her daughter traveled 1.5 hours with the kids to check in early, just like the front desk had promised me on the phone. When they arrived? They were ignored. Dismissed. Refused entry. No one helped. No one cared. They watched three children and a young woman stand in the lobby with hope in their eyes… and then be turned away. ⸻ They still charged me $62 for a night we physically couldn’t use. Not because we canceled. Because they made it impossible to use. ⸻ I’m not a celebrity. I’m not chasing revenge.
