Came out for my daughter's birthday, we were met with a friendly face to greet us and told us about the free cookies they have. Pool was clean. Beds were comfy. Free breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend.

We were going to The Wilds and it was very convenient as it was 15 minutes away. The room was nice but a little dirty in the bathroom, the fan did not work and the room temperature could not be regulated as the air conditioning had a mind of it's own. Nice breakfast in the morning.

When we stayed at the property, my wife and my son noticed a smell.Immediately when we went into the room, a mold smell but it was three in the morning, and we were going to sleep. My wife wanted the complaint immediately. But I told her, Hey, we're super tired. Let's just go to sleep. We're gonna be out of here by 11. Maybe 12, if they let us sleep an extra hour. So I wake up in the morning and go to the front desk. And the guy I ask him, is it? Okay. If we sleep an extra hour and stay until 12 checkout, he was very nice about it. And says no problem, so at 10 o'clock, 10:30 in the morning, I'm packing our stuff and I get ice from the ice machine with a small garbage bag one of the the room attendants that we needed because the refrigerator was frozen over and would not freeze our ice packs.But we stayed in a hotel the night before, and it froze them.No, problem with the same exact size freezer. As I'm filling these bags up, one of the ladies from the front office, come up and start complaining about me taking the garbage bag from the lady's cart. When the lady told me to grab it and gave it to me. So annoyed, I go to the front desk and I ask the guy in the front.Is the lady really gonna get mad?Because i'm using the bag of ice or the garbage bag from the cart. He at that point, instructed me to leave the hotel.I said this is just crazy.And I couldn't believe it that the guy went from being so nice to just kicking us out of the hotel.

A good budget stay

The rooms are a bit dated, e.g. could use a coat of paint, the bathroom fan doesn't work. But that said, the room was clean, well-serviced, and quiet. The complimentary breakfast does include hot items, but does not offer much for those on a low-carb diet.
