Love this place been here a few times , great front desk maintenance housekeeping and restaurant staff are all amazing . The only thing is pool area needs a little music and bartenders at the pool could be friendlier but besides that it’s a great place to stay

This is our favorite hotel! Beautiful lobby and public areas, big rooms, amazing infinity pool area (we felt like we were at a private country club!) with full bar and food services, and a separate jacuzzi area, and full gym. My wife had 2 fantastic massages at a great price, and a VIP discount, along with free drinks (Expedia VIP program)! The included breakfast is fantastic, with full omelette bar, typical Dominican food like Mangu (with fried cheese and fried salami!!)!many tropical, fruits, breads, and pastries, and a lot more. The location is very central in Santiago and easy to get around but, the best part is the staff. The friendliest, most courteous, and efficient staff in any hotel. We’re always greeted with a smile, and “what can I do for you next?” My wife has family in Santiago, who are very happy to put us up for the time that we were there, but instead, we spent nine nights at the Hodelpa Gran Almirante. Comfort, and all amenities, this is the standard of what a 5 star hotel should be.
