The cabin was nice, me and my 2 friends stayed for volunteer work. The cabin seems used often, needs a break for a deep cleaning, a good dusting under furniture, baseboards, shower floors can use bleach and a frequent scrubbing, shower door broken and hanging onto a broken hinge, very unsafe. Tv remote did not work in only bedroom with tv. Communication was good, but I’d rather have those things addressed before arriving, instead of spending my time with cordial conversations and pics of everything needing fixed so it’s not billed to my card. Overall, the beds were comfy, just needs a little TLC in between stays. The scenery and location helped!!

Not meeting expectations

The site looked good but did not meet expectations. On arrival all seemed ok until we tried to figure out lights, etc. Could nit find a switch for upper deck lights. Kitchen spotlights would not turn on and multiple light bulbs were out or broken and unsafe. There is no tyoe of lighting to see where to go for bottom of steps when arriving in the dark. The place was clean and neat. There seems to be a lot of maintenance needed here. We looked for a remote for the tv for the lower level and could not find it. I happened to drop a pen in the couch which fell thru to the floor. When we moved the chair the remote was under it. I would have expected it to be available within view. My biggest issues were lighting and safety issues not maintained. I just feel it should be fully ready when a guest arrives. We texted our contact for the property, as instructed, and did not get a response jntil the next morning. Then they let me know power had gone out the week prior and maybe tbere additional issues and she thought maybe they should get it looked at. Not mad because it was a neat place and area, but not happy for the presentation of the place to tbe guest.
