I enjoyed my stay at The Country Inn at the Mall. Wasn’t sure what it would be like but it exceeded my expectations. Very clean and the employees were nice. Location was a bit heavy on traffic but the Bangor City Forest was nearby to get peace and quiet. Hotel had a nice breakfast each day and lots of restaurants nearby (since close to the mall). Applebees nearby stayed open late. Easy access to downtown Bangor and also the U of Maine. Pricing was very reasonable. Will stay here again when in the area.

Okay for the price

The room was clean enough. We met the woman that was going to clean our room in the hall and she was very professional and told us to have safe travels. I will say that we have stayed there twice now and it is a little musty and the halls smell like Marijuana both times.

I This is an older property but meticulously clean and well maintained. The staff we interacted with were very friendly. The free breakfast had much variety and very good. We definitely will stay here again.
