We loved the location. We walked to restaurants and bars within easing walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is older, but has so much charm and character. Would definitely stay there again. The inner patio is gorgeous and guests would mingle there to talk, snack, and have beverages in the courtyard.

This is a beautiful older property with lots of character. The rooms are large and the grounds are lovely. The building and rooms need some work. Several amenities are missing. No mini-fridge, no bath mat, no facial tissue, mismatched soap/shampoo. Needs some minor renovations to be great.

Could have been a little cleaner. Hallways and steps could have used a vacuum. We were there for 3 days. Very quiet. Sure would have loved an early morning coffee in the lobby so I wouldn’t disturb my roommate making coffee. Would have loved food choices close to here. But we did find some hidden jewels in out of the way bar and grills. I would stay here again. Loved our nightly veranda sitting.

It was exactly what I needed on so many levels for self reflection. It has an historic charm with a courtyard that has plenty of seating, landscaping and a fountain. It was also quite clean and fresh. Very peaceful. Again, this spot was perfect for my personal getaway! I will return.

Physically, the inn is quaint and genteel. Clean rooms and conveniently located downtown. However, I feel security could be better in the parking lot. I never quite felt my car was totally safe but I didn’t have an incident; just the perception of it all felt iffy. Also, the inn is too fine of a place to allow the landscaping to be neglected.
