The hotel itself is new and very clean. The actual room has frustrating features that are bothersome if you like quiet and privacy. The barn doors on the bathroom do not have any locks and the gaps on both doors allows others to be able to see in from the living area and from the bedroom. Ridiculous design! The doors drag and make a horrible sound. Anyone sleeping in the living area is definitely woken up by simply opening and closing the door! The blackout blinds in the bedroom are not capped at the top, letting in a ton of light (defeats the purpose). There are no scissors to be able to open packages of food, but there is a butcher knife.

Decent Place.

The staff were very nice and inviting. They said that it is a “new hotel” and it was fairly nice and clean. There were issues with some paint in our room…it was missing or already worn away, did not affect the stay. Breakfast was the typical continental hotel breakfast. Waffles were great as always. The only real negative was there was no water pressure in our sink and the shower water pressure would come and go solar to when a well pump is having issues. The ice machines were turned off due to a boil water notice, I assume from the recent flooding in the area which is out of their control.
