The room was convenient and had everything you need in a small space. Parking station next door over priced and very narrow to drive and reverse the car. There needed to be another entry to the car park other than the car entry. Finding the reception area on the 2nd floor was a bit odd and we struggled a bit with our luggage but overall it was a good clean and convenient place to stay overnight.

Enjoyed the accommodation but found the service when booking in was rude and abrupt, I did not feel welcomed. Basically everything was just too hard what how I felt when checking in. Information listed on the website about parking was incorrect and caused issues for journey as well as information about getting taxi at 4am etc again we were given incorrect information with not a lot of options at 4am in the morning to get to an international flight.

Another excellent stay at Holiday Inn Express Auckland City. This is a really convenient place to stay at a great price - right in the heart of the city and with car parking literally next door. Buffet breakfast is a bonus too. We will be back.

The stay and staff were fantastic. This hotel turned an otherwise failure of a trip bearable. I was able to eat at various places, get a couple of massages, do some shopping and enjoy myself even though I couldn't do any of the things I went to Auckland for due to an information data breach and having to get and wait for new debit and credit cards, as well and heavy rains and winds cancelling my more adventurous outings.

The hotel was in a good location. The room was fairly small and basic but looked exactly like the pictures and was good for one night. The breakfast was really good and the staff were all welcoming

Fabulous and affordable with great location

This property has a great location just off Queen Street with easy access from two sides. Modern and welcoming reception area with friendly staff. Breakfast was varied and well stocked and a 15% discount given if you have a meal at the Voco hotel next door. Rooms were big enough for a family but housekeeping was not great - we had two days where it had not been done by 1500 and needed to request extra towels daily. This was quickly rectified by the staff on both occasions. I would recommend as a very good budget friendly hotel with a central location. Overall a pleasant stay.
