Great location and stay. The morning view of the river is awesome! Short run to au tran beach that is incredible. Warmer water temps due to river. This place is first class and would go back. Check out miners beach and black rocks probably 2 of the most beautiful spots I've ever seen and I've been around.

Clean-Freak Satisfying!!

My BFF since high school and I finally came to a time in life to take a girl’s trip. (Woohoo!) This tiny home was VERY clean and so aesthetically pleasing. It was quiet and private. My friend and I brought a big plastic tote of supplies and it made for a GREAT coffee table to put our feet up on. Not sure what brand of cleaner was used…but it was super strong smelling upon our arrival. We opened all the windows and got the place aired out. Cleaning product smells don’t usually bother me, but we both agreed this was unpleasant, aside from the strongness. It smelled like an off-brand Pine-Sol. (And I like classic Pine-Sol). We liked knowing it was obviously cleaned though. :) All this said, I/we will definately be back!! Your idea of tiny home rentals was brilliant.

Very cozy and comfortable stay! Close to beaches, pictured rocks, and all the fun amenities that the UP has to offer. This tiny home has wonderful amenities! Full kitchen, washer/dryer, grill, outside seating, hot tub, river access, and overall location were perfect. We will definitely be back.

Super cool place with a tiny home look and feel but a little extra elbow room. We were able to pack our family of 6 into this and everyone enjoyed it. The fire pit with seating, hot tub, grill, cooler and river access made it a great place to hang out in the morning or evening between our adventures. The property manager was very responsive in the case when we needed something.

Quiet tiny house

We enjoyed our stay in The Overlook. The river access, fire pit and hot tub were perfect! I would recommend taking a screenshot of you access code and wifi prior to your trip. We lost cell service in Au Train. Once on the WiFi at the cabin we didn't have any problems. No check out instructions posted and overall communication was brief. There are several more tiny homes being constructed in the same area. The access road is narrow and with more traffic could get too busy in the near future.

Exceeded our expectations!

Pictures don’t do justice to this amazing property! Private, quiet, incredibly clean, river access, and everything we needed and more! Super close (less than 5 min drive) from Lake Superior with a nice little swimming spot where the Au Train River and Lake Superior meet, so it’s a bit warmer. We paddle boarded to Lake Superior from the property and it took about an hour and a half. The construction of the home is very well built and has more outlets than you could ever use (so appreciated). The natural sunlight was amazing streaming into the windows! Comfy beds, endless hot water, and great porch area. Loved it!

The best rental I’ve ever had

Even though this rental is in a neighborhood of tiny homes, each rental still feels secluded. The view of the Au Train river is gorgeous and all the accommodations were lovely. I was immediately welcomed by the homey fresh wood cabin smell when I walked in the door. You can tell the decorations were very intentional and the space utilization was impressive. The inside seemed so much larger than the outside appearance. Everything was clean!! And there’s even a tankless water heater. The hot tub was amazing for the chilly UP spring nights. The host was extremely responsive with any questions and the check in and check out processes were super simple, just like a hotel. I honestly have nothing bad to say about it. I wish I had my own!

Great Family Retreat with River Views and a Hot Tub

We had a wonderful stay at the tiny house in Au Train, Michigan! The location was incredibly relaxing, situated right by the river, which added a peaceful ambiance to the trip. The hot tub was a highlight, and for a tiny house, it was surprisingly roomy for my husband, our 4-year-old daughter, and me. There are just a couple of suggestions I would make. The large window overlooking the river could benefit from a shade or curtain, as the sunlight at the end of the day made it difficult to watch TV or a movie - it shines directly onto the TV screen. Also, while the house was stocked decently, having some basic necessities like ziplock bags or Tupperware would have been helpful. We ended up leaving some condiments (ketchup, mustard, coffee creamer), salt, pepper, and Tupperware for future guests. One issue we encountered before leaving was discovering multiple mouse traps around the house. Unfortunately, we found a dead mouse in one trap under the couch while searching for our daughter’s shoe. Thankfully, she didn’t see it, but it was an unpleasant surprise. On a positive note, the washer/dryer in the bathroom and the bathtub were very convenient, especially with a young child in tow. The house’s proximity to great restaurants and being just 35 minutes from Marquette was a bonus. Overall, it was a very nice stay, and we’ve already talked about coming back!

Beautiful River retreat

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very clean, amazing decorations and design. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to cook dinners there-both inside and on the grill. The hot tub and fire pit were beautiful additions. The only thing I would encourage the owners to provide for future renters is better driving directions. We are not familiar with the area and our direction app was very confusing. Including, “take the gravel road after Oak St and follow to the end” with the door code would help. We enjoyed our stay very much though, thank you for sharing this gorgeous place!

Beautiful exterior amenities

This rental was very nice and was impressive. The high ceiling in the main area made it seem large. The best part of this is the exterior with the beautiful beach to the river and awesome fire pit that was perfect for the cooler nights. The hot tub caps off the exterior to be able to relax. Very enjoyable stay with pictured rocks an Marquette close by!

Great!

We loved our stay - the home is extremely well built and you can tell lots of detail went into every aspect. While there are other tiny homes on the property there is plenty of privacy. This is the perfect location for access to Marquette and Pictured Rocks. We will definitely come back here. The only issue we had was finding it at first. Ask for directions if the app doesn’t provide them for you.

It was very beautiful and the scenery was amazing. Would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway. Tip: if you have t mobile screenshot the doorcode and stuff before hand because i didnt get any service within miles.

We really enjoyed our stay! Check-in/out was easy and the house was clean and had everything we needed. Very close to a little convient store in case you needed to grab gas, snacks, firewood, etc. The hot tub, fire pit, and river view made for a perfect, relaxing outdoor space!
