The guy at the reception during check-in was quite strange and came across as somewhat xenophobic, very old-fashioned. However, the younger staff working during the daytime were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to the center.

Clean, helpful staff, rooftop terrace/bar with views of the Acropolis and city. Generous breakfast buffet. Set in an area of street markets. It would be challenging to drive the tiny crowded maze of streets, so take a taxi. Very good value for money.

The highlight was the professional and friendly staff who assisted in getting myself and my old dad to Athens airport after a taxi strike was announced without warning.
