A great hotel, nice big rooms. Took us a day to discover there was a shuttle bus to and from Otsu Station, but when utilised it was easier, as it's a 20 minute walk to Zeze Station (closest JR station). Was disappointed to hear there was no laundry facility for guests.

Unusual hotel - all room different. Ours was very spacious and stylish but mood lighting made it impossible to see or read anything. Huge screen TV but instructions made it impossible to use. Quiet area. Boutique shopping away from the downtown but only 25 min walk away

Unfortunately, there are no accommodations in central Asuka. This destination is definitely not what you'd call a tourist trap. It was a pleasant room, with a public baths on the top floor. It was only one minute walk from the train station and was conveniently located.
