Located in the heart of the Zillertal, the village of Aschau is the ideal location for visitors wanting to explore the region and experience its many outdoor activities, from hiking and walking in summer to skiing in winter. During the winter season, the surrounding region has much to offer skiers and snowboarders. The nearest ski area is Hochzillertal - Hochfügen, which offers slopes leading directly to Aschau and is known for excellent freeriding. Another popular ski area is the Spieljoch, where families especially feel at home. A pharmacy is conveniently located just 200 meters from the property.

If you are looking for alternatives to hiking, mountain biking and cycling, you should visit the Zillertal climbing center, the adventure park in Kaltenbach or the Zillertal thermal baths.
