Beautiful Mountain views, overlooking horse pastures with plenty of parking to accommodate your group. 10 Minutes away from Sierra Nevada brewery, French broad river which offers great tubing, fishing, rafting, as well as an abundant selection of hiking trails for exploring just to name a few things close.

Nice place, very quite, set in nature

Very nice place, property is as described. Very quite and isolated place in the mountain, exactly what we were looking for. We saw deer and wild turkeys. Kitchen had everything we need. Very pleased about the overall cleanliness and comfort.

Great space for family!

With 2 beds & a crib in the master, a room upstairs and 3 separated sleeping areas downstairs, this house had great space for my family! The owners were super responsive and the place was very clean!

Great Place

House has a great use of space. The location is great, in the middle of many places. Close to Asheville, Dupont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest. Grocery store 3 miles away. Several restaurants close by. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

A Nice and clean house

It is a nice house. It checks all the boxes and it was clean and in a good location. It was stocked (except any pens or pencils) and was perfectly fine for the 4 of us. A couple little things that didn't make it quite 5 stars would be the nonstop noisy vent, a not super comfy bed, and tiny bathrooms. But don't let that scare you off. Not everyplace can be a perfect 5.

Very pleasant!

We have stayed in several places and the cleanliness is important. Some we have had to clean before we could make ourselves at home. This place needed nothing done, was very clean and homey. Only thing it didn’t have was a can opener. We were very impressed. It is also close to shopping. The owner was very helpful.

Nice Thanksgiving stay just outside town and near airport.

We rented the property for Thanksgiving and stayed Tuesday through Sunday. The house was conveniently located near AVL as we had members of our family flying in. The home is tucked away just outside of town to give you a country feel with horses in the backyard. Although you are still only 25 minutes from downtown and we were still able to even Uber there for a reasonable price. We had a little inconvenience at the beginning of the stay and Marie went above and beyond to fix it and even went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of. The house had plenty of beds (6) which worked perfect for our extended family situation. We made a full thanksgiving meal in the kitchen and the house seemed to have all the cooking equipment needed. Because your are tucked away outside of town the cell signal is a little shaky, but the wifi worked the majority of the time so we could remain connected. The cable package is a little bizarre as it has many channels, but no ESPN or some others you might think included. Overall I would stay here again as it fit my family’s need and we had a wonderful time visiting Asheville. Marie was a wonderful host. My last note of advice is go to Ava’s Donuts is nearby. You won’t regret it.

Country getaway

We had an amazing time enjoying country. We made a campfire at night and enjoyed making meals together. During the day we visited several wineries and creameries. The house is also only 10mins from the airport!
