Downtown Arcata Garden Cottage

Right in town with easy access to everything Arcata, this two-bedroom 1 bath plus a sofa that converts to a queen size bed, our craftsman apartment is smack-dab in the heart of it all. Remodeled in the early 2000’s, the house showcases an eclectic mix of styles and is fully stocked to ensure that you have a comfortable stay. It has a large fully fenced beautiful shared yard space with a propane fire pit to keep you warm on the cool Arcata evenings. Your stay also includes our gift voucher with exclusive discounts to our partnered local businesses.


***Details to note when booking... We have on street parking only and NOT subject to a time limit. VRBO does not cover us under their insurance policy due to the third party platform we use. For this reason, at time of booking, you will see there is a "$500 damage deposit to be paid at property." This is just a hold charge on your credit card that starts on the day of your arrival and is then released within 2 days after your departure and covers our property in the case of extensive damage. Cancellations will be charged the VRBO service fee.

Our cottage was beautiful as was the garden and very pet friendly while the kitchen provided all we needed to cook simple meals. The location was central and allowed the option to walk everywhere.My only reservation was no light in the shower or over the sink but those were small inconveniences compared to the many amenities available. Absolutely loved the artwork and overall eclectic decor!

Adorable property centrally located to all things Arcata. Easy walk to the plaza. Very convenient! King bed mattress is very soft and the queen mattress is slightly firmer. Fully stocked kitchen and great back patio for morning coffee! We’ll be back!

Lovely cottage that accommodated my family of five perfectly. Walking distance to restaurants, drug store, grocery’s, bars, farmers market, minor league baseball and so much more. Clean house with all the amenities. Good WiFi, streaming selections, great outdoor space. We loved Arcata and will definitely be back!
