Nice room. Clean. Bathroom could use a fan. It was nice to have a bar/restaurant attached. Also appreciated the complimentary breakfast. We were part of the DC Everest youth hockey. Overall, good experience.

I had to call the hotel to confirm that our room had a hideaway sofa. Not only did the young woman at the front desk make sure we had the sofa, but she remember the call and mentioned it at check-in to confirm that she had us in a great room. I rarely see this level of personal customer experience. Excellent personal service!

It was nothing to do with Double Tree, when we made the reservation through Expedia, we accidentally put in that day's date instead of the date we needed to stay. Once we realized with in 5 min, we contacted Expedia to change it, and they wouldn't allow us to. Next time I will book directly with the hotel less headaches and you can talk to a real person to straighten things like this out.
