This is my favorite hotel when visiting the Saranac Lake/Lake Placid region. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking available. Overall, an excellent value.

The Inn has been around for awhile…so some of it is dated…the staff and check-in was easy…room was clean…toilet bowl was too low to floor for a tall person was uncomfortable to sit on 😂

Older facility, needs some upgrades , such as more electrical outlets in the room, better lighting in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Nice view on the lake. Easy walk to downtown about a mile away.

The self check in was great- the staff was helpful when I emailed my questions- only challenge was coming in later than check in time and having a hard time parking- the 1888 number and the other number listed on website were not working when I attempted to call- finally found the right phone number which was emailed to me. Overall for a person wanting a budget friendly inn, it was perfect for a night!

We arrived to find our room did not have a refrigerator or coffee pot. The staff worked quickly to resolve this issue. We chose a room with a lake view and looked forward to sitting by the lake. Unfortunately, there was so much goose poop we couldn’t enjoy being in the grass. Please consider raking and disposing of this.

The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was disappointing- weird showerhead was difficult to adjust. The outlets bedside were inadequate. I always travel with a powerstrip extension cord, just in case. There were several areas outside where flagstones and cement needed repairing.
