Great View! Awesome Getaway!

Great little place for our Memorial Day/Honeymoon getaway! Everything was great!Brought our boat but were told that we weren't allowed to to tie up to the back once we had it in, we made the best of it and just took in and out each day, boat ramp is just down Water Street. Location is perfect, just a walk away from everything Apalachicola.

Couple's Vacation

We were looking for a quiet, peaceful vacation somewhere pretty on or near the beach with minimal tourist traffic and we found exactly what we needed here. The boat was comfortable and clean, and the view was unbeatable. Would happily return.

Pleasant stay.

My husband and I chose this area because we love to kayak fish. We were in close proximity to St. George Island where we put in at tbe state park on the. Ay side. Fabulous fishing from this area. Caught several reds, trout, and even 2 sharks. When we returned in the evening, we were skeptical to fish off the house boat in the river due to other reviews of just cat fish. We actually caught reds from the house boat which we were happy about. Large fish kept surfacing in the evening. I joked with my husband stating that i think i keep seeing the lauchness monster. They turned out to be gars. Very large. We caught 2 but ended up losing them before ee could bring them in. What an adrenaline rush. Overall great stay. I would recommend a new set of pans for the house boat, and cleaning out the air conditioner...but other than that...very enjoyable stay!!!!

quiet. Comfortable, close to resturants and entertainment. Plenty of cat fish if you like to fish! Nice quaint town, people friendly. No problems! Couldn't hook up a ps5 on day it rained because we only had remote for dish and not tv so unable to change source. We just found something else to do! The wood work on houseboat is beautiful. Would stay again!

Fantastic vacation!

Great accommodations with fantastic views overlooking the Apalachicola River having gorgeous sunrises and fishing from the front porch! Enjoyable walks to restaurants and shopping. The host is very accommodating. We will be back again for sure!

Amazing vacation rental.

We had such a wonderful time staying on the houseboat. Such a unique experience that we’ll never forget. Waking up every morning overlooking the Apalachicola river watching the sunrise, it was so beautiful. The houseboat had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Very convenient location and an easy walk to downtown. Karen, Norma and John were great and made sure we had a great vacation.

Everything you need is there

Just got back home from the houseboat and I miss it already. The houseboat comes equipped with a full kitchen and everything that is needed for a short or long stay. Catch fish and crabs right from the back deck. Great waterfront (watertop) location about15 minutes away from St George Island beaches. Apalachicola is very friendly to visitors and is full of small shops and places to eat just steps away. Private reserved gated parking area. Wifi worked great and next time we'll be sure to take the included kayaks out on the water. It was a pleasure to stay there and there was great communication with the owner and the check in process.

Very relaxing accommodations, fresh seafood all around, and friendly community.

Enjoyed have a gas stove, comfortable king bed, and endless bird watching off back patio. Lazy boy chair may need an update, yet other than that I highly recommend this docked house boat. We had a fabulous stay, and enjoyed the local food & retail shops.

THE BEST STRESS FREE MINI VACATION EVER

My wife and I stayed on the Reelaxation. The second we stepped on this houseboat the daily stress disappeared. This boat was better than we could have dreamed. It was unique, it was very clean and the location was just perfect. The owner, a really happy lady, greeted us and that made our visit even more perfect. Security is not a problem at all with an electronic gate that required a passcode to keep the property safe. This boat had a screened in porch facing the waterway. You could fish, watch nature and enjoy the beauty of each and every day. There was an awesome waterfront seafood restaurant next door and the town of Apalachicola was a short walk with wonderful shops, bars/restaurants and history everywhere. We could right a book but why spoil the fun. This is something that you have to check out for yourself. It was really a dream come true that was much needed for us and it made 2020 look a whole lot better.

Terrific location and service

Staying on the houseboat was a unique and beautiful experience. Really need to call out Karen, the owner, who was terrific. Everything was smooth, she took care to make sure the unit was cleaned thoroughly, and was kind even when as guests we made mistakes. Cannot say enough and hope to see her again soon.
