Our visit to Antwerp was part of a longer trip and the Sapphire was in a good location for walking. The cafe, bar and lounge area was comfortable and relaxing. Our room was good although the white lighting was cheap looking. The bathroom mirror light wasn't working, difficult to get ready to go out. The air con was controlled by the reception and we had to constantly call to have temps adjusted. There was a manual option but almost all the staff were not trained to make this adjustment. It made our stay not comfortable for the 5 star hotel standard we expected.

The reception was so unprofessional and confused. Instead of taking my credit card upon check in they demanded that I pay for City tax and Breakfast upfront. The woman at the reception wouldn’t extend my check out time and demanded 20 Euros for each extra hour even though I am an Envoy member and were completely confused about my bill,

Amazing hotel, excellent and friendly staff, great breakfast, central location to main tourist areas, very walkable. Nice rooms, super clean, very comfortable beds. Will definitely come back if we visit Antwerp again in the future.

3 night stay with adult daughter, staff did not inform at check in that water is routinely turned off at midday briefly, so 2 consecutive days both of us experienced the water stopping midway during showering with shampoo still in our hair. The hotel itself was lovely, all the ataff were healpful and friendly. Our room was gorgeous, spacious with plenty of room to put away clothes - which never happens these days! The bed was so comfy. One tiny thing is that the room was quite dim - even with all the lights on, but honestly, that could be my age!! Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options and they catered very well for my partner who is a celiac. We will definitely be back.

Hotel staff was very friendly. The restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner. Our room and the hotel was beautiful. We walked to everything we wanted to do. There were many great restaurants close by. Over all a great choice and I would stay there again!

The hotel is truly gorgeous on the outside and inside. The room was very clean and had the most comfortable bed, and the location was pefect for exploring Antwerp as you could easily walk everywhere.

It’s a very nice hotel in a great location near all old town attractions. The front desk staff were highly professional and friendly. They have provided helpful information regarding planning for our two days in Antwerpen. We’re Expedia Platinum members and have been offered a room upgrade and early check in.

The hotel entrance and courtyard was beautiful., the lifts did not smell well, perhaps having a separate lift for dogs. Dogs were barking on 2nd floor!!
