We had a wonderful stay. I highly recommended upgrading to the signature suite. It was worth it. The restaurant on site was great, yummy food and drinks. We loved that breakfast was included in the stay, it was delicious. We can't wait to return.

Room was clean, though a bit dated. No plugs near nightstand to charge phone. Breakfast was delicious and the spa was nice. Issue with plumbing where the toilet would be running for a good hour after being flushed. For some reason the hall outside our door was being vaccuumed at 11:50 pm which kept us up after a long day of travel. Two luggage racks to store suitcases which was a nice touch. Some pros, some cons. Older clientele during our stay.

The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The cottage that we stayed in was very dated and maybe clean but it was hard to tell because it was so dated. The couch was filthy and the mattresses were very soft and lumpy. There are no kitchens and only a mini fridge in the cottage. It all worked for us, but it wasn’t the best hotel stay I’ve ever had sadly.

This grand old 1920's hotel is set on the beautiful Digby Sound. Very atmospheric, you can imagine the Swinging social life back in the day. I booked a single night in Oct so very few guests. .Staff were super. The Full breakfast included was super.

Beautiful grounds, gorgeous views, friendly staff, fun atmosphere, good food, quaint hotel. The only thing I would say needed some help would be the cleanliness of the bathrooms. They could also use some updating. Otherwise everything else was spectacular.

Staff were great at all facilities (Check-in, restaurant, bar, cleaning, etc.). The rooms are a little dated and small. Ex - the door won't properly close in the washroom and the toilet ran the entire weekend. Not deal breakers for us as we'd plan on coming back.

The hotel was nice long time ago. Rooms need a renew, specially the ones above the restaurant... furnitures need renew.

Parking was easy, no issues finding a spot. We loved that it was a CP hotel back in the day and the architecture of the place is beautiful. I think the dining chairs were original to the building and I love them! The only issue we saw (heard, actually) was a constant beeping somewhere near the front desk. Didn’t affect us in our room or in the dining room, but it was a bit of an irritant if you were on the main floor. However, it won’t stop us from staying here again!

Very very very old property. They absolutely need to change the carpet that smells! The backyard and the sceneries were beautiful but I could enjoy that without staying in a room! The breakfast was good.
