Pousada Belas Águas – Ilha Grande A True Paradise in Araçatiba An amazing place, wonderful hospitality, and the warm, personal, family-style care from Letícia and Lucas truly turn this place into a paradise on the beachfront of Araçatiba. The rooms are modern, well-maintained, and spotless, built like charming wooden cabins. Each one features a hammock on the balcony and a breathtaking sunset view facing the sea. There is a pristine, untouched beach right next to the hotel where you can choose to enjoy the excellent breakfast. The hotel restaurant offers a diverse local menu with outstanding quality. Anyone looking for peace and relaxation, surrounded by beautiful beaches in the area, must come here. The hotel staff is welcoming and friendly. You can arrange transportation from the nearby village connected to Angra dos Reis or book a private transfer directly to the hotel — all options are available, including boat tours that pick you up directly from the hotel’s beach. Perfect!

This boutique hotel both has so many thoughtful touches and modern amenities while also feeling like a relaxed jungle treehouse escape. The views are incredible and breakfast on the beach is delicious and serene. The owners were incredibly helpful with every detail and question. We arrived by 20-min private speed boat which was a luxurious and delightful part of the experience. Good WiFi and A/C and beautiful decor and new bathrooms. The food at the restraurant was delicious featuring locally-caught seafood. Next to the hotel are several other cute hotels with their own relaxed beach bars with different types of music for watching the gorgeous sunsets. We also took out one of the hotel kayaks at sunset which was magical. Would definitely visit again.
