Unsafe and Unacceptable – No Access in Freezing Conditions
While the accommodation itself was lovely once we finally got in, the experience leading up to that was absolutely unacceptable and downright dangerous.We never received the door code, even though our correct contact number was clearly listed on Stayz. The property managers claimed they had the wrong number on file but refused to take any responsibility for the error. There was no apology, no refund, and no attempt to make things right.We were left stranded outside in 0-degree temperatures with a young family and no alternative accommodation. I called the emergency number over 40 times, left countless voicemails and text messages, and received no response—not that night, not even the next morning. I had to chase them down myself, which is appalling.This wasn’t just poor service—it was irresponsible, unsafe, and dangerous. Leaving people in freezing conditions without shelter is completely inexcusable. No family should ever be treated this way.
