What a great hotel - loved the location we got a free upgrade to a bigger room with a view and the bed was soooo comfortable - really loved the shower too big and with shampoo and conditioner 100% reccomend this for a stay in Amsterdam

The room was clean and the staff were very freshly and helpful. The location is great and very close to the central station. We very much enjoyed our time here. As an added bonus the coffee across the road was excellent.

The location is great, and the hotel room was of good size and offers a good view. We would recommend this hotel if you prefer staying close to the Central Station. The breakfast buffet was good but there were flies in the food area.

Always come back to this hotel as it’s lovely. Everywhere is clean. Staff on the desk are very friendly and welcoming and will happily come back again. Only reason it is not a 5 this time around is the fact that the housekeeping staff continuously kept trying to come into our room to clean it despite us having the do not disturb sign on which made us feel uncomfortable as felt a disregard for privacy. Informed the staff at the desk who apologised. Hopefully if we stay again this doesn’t happen but apart from this always a lovely place.

Avoid!!! If you don’t want your items being stolen I liked the hotel and in general the receptionist were great, until I had my money stolen from my suitcase. I always use the hotel safe but in a rush i had left some money in my suitcase. Contacted the management and i was told that they would investigate, let’s be honest who is going to own up? I received an email after they “investigated” and said they found no issue with their process, procedures and house keeping etc. Very disappointed. I have never had this issue before, it made me feel really crap for the rest of my holiday hence the one star

The servicing of the room was lacking, often. We did not have enough towels nor toilet paper from routine service, we had to request these items each day after our room was cleaned. I realize coming from the US we expect air conditioning to be better, but we could not get our room below 75°F. We were just told that that is how things are at that particular hotel.
