The apartment is lovely, very nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and in a perfect location right opposite the beach. Nice shared swimming pool which wasn’t ever too busy. The outside building decor is a bit tired but it’s very secure and nice and quiet. The owner is very responsive and met us on time to let us in. San Juan is a very family oriented area and has a lovely atmosphere. Lots of restaurants and lovely ice cream places and a few supermarkets, one about a 10-15 min walk. The only improvements I’d suggest for the apartment which would have made things a little more comfortable are to provide a few more kitchen utensils for cooking and a couple of basics like salt and pepper, oil, and laundry tabs. Beach umbrellas were provided and really welcome as there is no shade on the beach. Providing beach towels too would have been the icing on the cake. We had a great holiday and would definitely recommend this property.
