I had a beautiful ocean view room with tall ceilings and long draperies and a marble bathroom. The staff is exceptional. They were happy to try out their English skills. The roof deck is incredible. The breakfast is huge with a giant selection and they’ll make you an omelette. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is a classic old Grand Dame.

The hotel itself is very charming and the old British royalty decoration inside and out is very nice. However the rooms are very old, we could hear everything in the room next door, there was only one outlet in the entire room. Overall the hotel and room are beautiful but amenities are dated.

Needs some attention & money spent on this hotel to live up to expectations. Staff were excellent but the hotel is clearly badly managed. Breakfast was not efficient, partly due to unusually high volume of people. The ‘ manager ‘ strutted around watching the wait staff struggle . 1 poor man trying to cook eggs for way too many people. It was a long wait for my poor husband !

Beatfull historic hotel in the first row on Alexandria Cornish. No shortage in staff but management seems to be more interested in convincing guests to write a favorable review instead of trying to improve the guest experience by taking care of a few simple attention to details.
