Not being maintained like it used to be. The room was cold and there was no way to warm the room other than turning off air. The water for shower was lukewarm. Refrigerator froze food and couldn’t be adjusted. Issues with water backing up in various locations in the resort

I use to bring my kids here all the time when they were growing up because it was such an amazing place. The last time I visited was 5 years ago and it was decent. We decided to spend a few days there this past weekend, we spent three days there and I was blown away by how horrible it has gotten. It stunk like urine in the hallways, unclean rooms is an understatement, the floors were not vaccumed in the 3 days we were there, hot tub didnt work,the one housekeeper wasn't even wearing shoes. I could go on and on about the uncleanliness. I did ask to switch rooms the second night because the hallway stunk of sewer along with the urine smell and I will say she did switch us to a new level/room but it wasn't much better. I am not one to usually complain but to me its was a lot of money and I would definitely go somewhere else next time. It's such a shame because Arrowood was once such an amazing place to visit. I truly hope someone takes over and brings this place back to a fun/clean place to go.

When checking in we were not greeted, given a map, told where our room was, pool hours or the restaurants...on top of that they had a problem with the Expedia payment. Eli at the front desk and Ryan at the rafters bar were the only nice and helpful staff members. The property only had one elevator at the check in which made access very limited and inconvenient when traveling with kids and strollers. The breakfast was very overpriced, the French toast sticks were delicious but not for $21 per person. The sweet chili wings at the bar were very good but again expensive. The indoor pool was lacking but ok. We did enjoy walking outside but the access was horrible, we had to lift the stroller up and down stairs just to get to the grounds outside and enjoy the dock. The ice machines were far and few between, the one closest to us was filthy and leaking. We were disappointed that the arcade couldn't be accessed when the water park was closed, the hours were not told to us and we missed out on the waterpaerk for the last day. We would have planned accordingly had we known, the book in the hotel room did not have the hours. Also a safety concern...we went to the water park and realized it was closed however the doors were unlocked and anyone could access the water when no staff were there! The highchair in the restaurant had broken buckles as well, my child fell. We checked out and were not asked how the stay was or if we needed anything, I had to ask for a receipt.

Place was not worth the cost in our opinion.We rented a 4 bedroom cottage that showed washer & dryer, but laundry area was locked and inaccessible. It was frustrating as we had lots of kids and counted on having the washer. Kitchen had old items and a mess of random items thrown together (hand mixer beaters with old food) not enough glasses (lots of odd sizes that made us wash them every meal so everyone could have a glass). I had my daughter, who lives in town, bring me some basic pans so that we could make dinner. Furniture was old and peeling "leather". It was difficult to get staff to bring new towels etc. We went to desk, they said call for linens, we called still no linens late in the day, went back to desk and had to pick them up ourselves anyway! I feel like we could have just stayed someplace less expensive and just bought waterpark tickets and been further ahead.

Stayed one night. Chose it because it is on the lake and close to the winery. It’s more than we wanted to spend at $245 but thought we would treat ourselves. It was a Saturday so it was pretty busy with golf groups, weddings and families. A lively atmosphere- obviously short staffed (service flow), but everyone is understanding and patient. This resort is showing its age, wall paper peeling off the walls, carpet worn, it needs a little TLC. Our room had a nice view of the lake and a little balcony. The TV had no signal and WiFi did not work. I called front desk thinking I was doing something wrong, the staff seemed aware of the problem- and suggested I try a couple things to no avail. Very minor inconvenience. Water pressure was great. Bed comfortable and surprisingly quiet given all the young children that were staying there. We enjoyed the free putting course and the bag toss. No regrets staying there but we don’t need to spend this much for a one night stay.

Great location right on the lake. The marina is convenient. This property is not ideal for elderly folks with mobility issues. Overall the property is old and has not been well maintained. Cleanliness in the rooms is an issue.

Had a great weekend stay. Very spacious room. Everything is clean. Yes, it’s an older property but the staff, cleanliness and amenities make it a great location to stay at.

Big disappointment

facility is run down and outdated. Outdoor pool was not heated and no towels. Indoor pool was cold but doable, full of sand and nothing wiped down. hot tub was also full of sand, no jets working and full of kids. no monitoring. bathrooms were out the door and up the steps so you can imagine where the little ones were peeing! sat at the outdoor bar for several hours watching the kitchen staff and servers. there was no system for getting the food out hot. we saw food sitting for 20 minutes before that server came back from an errand even though there were 3 other servers standing and waiting for their food. we waited over an hour for chicken nachos. it came out immediately after we asked about it the 3rd time. it was simply chips drenched in queso and topped with stringy chicken. we had to ask for sour cream and some salsa in order to make it edible. It appears the new ownership may be letting it go and possibly has other plans for that property I was totally shocked at how bad it was and will not be visiting that property in the future. Big disappointment!!!

Property was very clean. Staff was very pleasant but obviously inexperienced. The outdoor pool stayed a little grungy after a rain. The hot tub only had two jets working. Expedia mentioned 2 restaurants but only the outdoor one with limited menu was consistently open. Breakfast was available in main restaurant but again, staff was very pleasant but very inexperienced.

We liked that it was on the lake. There were options for boat rentals. However, our room was not clean. We had our maid service sign out and never got cleaning service. We had to get additional towels from the front desk. The wall paper was bubbling and peeling in the room. The toilet lid was cracked. The front desk staff was not helpful at all. The property in general needs a lot of upkeep. We don’t travel a lot but this was the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at
