**Additional Info about our home**
As soon as you enter you'll fall in love with the beautiful wood details throughout our chalet. Our home has a great layout which is perfect for extended families or friends with two bedrooms and a one bath on each floor.

You'll love bonding with your group while playing games, shuffleboard and plenty of other entertainment options in the second floor family/game room.

There's nothing better than pouring yourself a nice hot cup of coffee from our drip coffee pot or single serve Keurig and listening to the majestic sounds of nature from the large wraparound deck outside. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and appliances you'll need to whip up a delicious home cooked meal. Or if you just can't wait to get outside and explore everything the Poconos has to offer there's a microwave and toaster. We have a starter supply of dishwasher soap, dish soap, and paper towels and trash bags under the kitchen sink.

You won't have to worry about taking up valuable car space with sheets and blankets from home. All our beds have 100% cotton white sheets, comforters, and blankets. We also provide cotton bath towels, wash cloths, and hand towels on each bed (beach/pool towels not provided).

After a fun-filled day on the slopes, at the lake or hiking the trails, relax in Kozy Chalet's 4 private sleeping rooms:

-Twin over Full Bedroom (Listed as Living Room) - 1 Full / Twin Bunk Bed with Twin bed trundle (3 Beds)

While our home can accommodate up to 10 people, it is most comfortable with a max of 6 adults. Max of 3 dogs allowed.

We also provide septic safe toilet paper, paper towels and basic cleaning supplies. We do our best, but do not guarantee that these extra items will always be available and you may need to replenish paper goods, toiletries, laundry detergent, etc throughout your stay.

After a long day hiking the trails or chasing the kiddos you can grab a refreshing glass of water right from the tap. No need to bring endless cases of water or giant jugs. Our home has a brand new water filtration system that provides clean and balanced well water that is ready for use. This is often referred to as soft water and results in needing to use less soap when you shower, wash clothes, wash dishes, etc. Our water softener is located in the queen bedroom closet on the 1st floor and backwashes in the middle of the night so as not to interrupt water usage during the daytime. The schedule varies based on demand so it will not run every night. You may hear some water running, however the closet has been soundproofed to reduce any noise. In our experience we have not heard the system running overnight and only one guest has reported hearing it in two plus years.

Kids or doggos make a small mess during your stay? No worries! Cleaning products, vacuum, and broom are provided in the hall closet for minor cleanups during your stay.

**Towamensing Trails Community Info**

Our house is located in Towamensing Trails community, which offers a swimming pool, lake with beach, volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts. Access to community amenities requires a wristband, but only 8 are given per rental as per community rules. However, 2 additional day passes can be purchased for $10 each per day. Community rules do not allow any lost wristbands to be replaced. Children under the age of 5 do not count towards the maximum limit.

The quiet hours of the community and township are between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am EST daily. The house sits on ½ an acre and we do have neighbors. While the house offers a fun and relaxing environment, please be mindful of your noise outside especially in the evenings and do not venture on to others’ properties. Not everyone who lives in the Poconos are on vacation so please respect the community rules and neighboring properties as the community is very strict on any rules that are broken and fines will be issued.

There is a garbage disposal site located approximately 6-7 minutes drive from the property. Trash MUST be taken to the community dumpster during posted hours only. DO NOT LEAVE TRASH OUTSIDE THE DUMPSTER AREA WHEN SITE IS CLOSED. You must display the trash pass/car tag on your vehicle when dropping off trash. Attempting to dispose of trash without the car tag will result in a $100 fine from the community. Limit 5 trash bags per day per vehicle. Directions to dumpster and hours to be provided in Welcome Packet. There is a $50 per bag fee charged if this is not done upon Checkout Date. There is a small guest rental form to be filled out and $25 fee to issue wristbands + trash pass per vehicle. Each vehicle pass is $5 per vehicle listed (4 max). Guest fee and vehicle fees included in nightly rate.
