House has not been updated since the early 80s, needs new beds badly…there are literally cots in one of the bedrooms. The heating situation was strange (wall electric heat) with no heat in two of the bedrooms aside from some plug in heaters that cannot run at the same time because they blow a fuse. Kitchen has very little as far as cooking pots or utensils, there is no can opener! This house has potential, but some money needs to be put into fixing it up if it’s going to be rented. I was extremely disappointed, and I wasn’t expecting luxury at all while we visited our son at OSU. Signs everywhere saying “don’t use” the fireplace or glasses in the hutch were off-putting. Hot water didn’t get very hot for a shower and the shower squealed the whole time it was running. Love the property, but the house needs a lot of cleaning and updating if it is to be rented, especially the beds! Asking renters to start the towels in the washer when there is no laundry soap was ridiculous. We had to go buy some! Small touches go a long way. This is a last resort house to stay at, and I would never stay here again.
