Disappointing

Pros: clean inside rooms and spacious.
Cons: Some front of house staff . The lady who was on as we booked out was lovely. Their willingness to fix mixups and problems with rooms.
Location: Lark, beach,
Staff not helpful(in fact quite unpleasant).Bugs every where(obviously not their fault)but very unpleasant. The room we got was not what we had paid for, and it wasn't a cheap place to stay. The staff when asked to change our room were not helpful. We ended up with a room that overlooked a main access road to a beach and were told we had a garden view, when we wanted a pool view. Certainly not my idea,or anyone's i would think, of a "garden". Having a spa on the balcony overlooking a road with bugs flying on you and landing in it are not my idea of resort style accommodation. When asked to fix our television, that wasn't working on the station that we wanted to watch something (and the next room had this station working) we were informed there was nothing they could do. To watch the upstart manager falling all over channel 9 presenters and crew, as we were leaving, and turn his back on us, says it all. To be fair, the rooms inside were very nice and clean

Excellent rooms and food, service terrible

Stayed for 2 nights and the rooms and motel staff were excellent and more than willing to help, the food at the restaurant is sensational but the wait staff are the worst I have ever experienced! After 15 minutes watching people around me get served and order drinks I had to go to the bar and order mine! They kept walking past like we were ghosts.

Can't recommend highly enough

Highly recommended. Rooms are gorgeous, staff super friendly and the huge pool is pretty special, not to mention the hot tub. All rooms have a private spa as well. We only stayed one night unfortunately but we'll be back!

Very lovely, staff were brilliant. Great having the spa out on the patio. Restaurant was amazing. Weill defiantly be back soon. Very clean. We went for a walk around the 1770 lookouts and had a great morning looking at all of the wonderful ocean views. Looked at the lovely shops and had fish and chips at one of the gorgeous little cafes.

Hi Neil! We thank you so very much for giving us such a valuable, well constructed review. The bed is always a hard one to nail, one of those 'each to their own' elements but we're glad that where some things are at fault other things are of excellence - service being one of our greatest focus' Take care Neil, we look forward to welcoming you back in the not so distant future.
