loved the staff, the care. quiet. all around good experience for my family and I. one thing I will say is that the hot tub was Luke warm, wasn't really a hot tub. but everything else was on point

Check in was smooth. They put us in the 3rd floor. We get up to our room and wonder if this is the room we reserved. It wasn't. We booked a room with a single queen bed. The room we got had 2 beds and much less room. Our toilet didnt flush half the time. The shower left a lot to be desired. A shower head from this century would have improved the situation. Over all the entire facility was incredibly out dated. The first night's sleep was short lived. The mattress seemed incredibly small and the springs were felt with ever turn. The second night's sleep went about the same except a new family checked in above us. Their children were stomping late into the morning. I actually had to call the front desk twice to get it to stop. Overall we are so disappointed we spent our money on this room. This was my birthday gift. We haven't been able to get out of town for the last few years and this stay was anything but relaxing. I came for the hot tub. We only used it 2 times as there were babies without swim diapers in both the hot tub and the pool.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Check in was easy. Close to the beach and shopping. Facility had free laundry use. But the machine didn’t work. There was plenty of food at breakfast. But the breakfast room smelled terrible. Rooms were clean and smelled fresh.

The rooms were big but there were drawbacks. Pillows need to be changed, they were very hard and uncomfortable. Unfortunately there was a lot of family noise around us, too bad there was a lack of insulation used. Ocean Shores was lacking a lot, not the same so many years ago.
