We had a lovely stay at the Four Points by Sheraton. The staff were incredibly friendly, the buffet breakfast was an easy 10/10, the amenities were excellent, and our room with its beautiful beach view was stunning.
The reason for my 4-star review comes down to two things. Firstly, the elevators were extremely slow. We regularly waited over 10 minutes just to reach the 8th floor and even had to use the stairs twice. For a 36-floor hotel with four lifts, this was disappointing.
Secondly, housekeeping was often very late. We’d leave the room around 7–8 am and return after 4:30 pm to find it still hadn’t been serviced.
Aside from these two issues, everything else was fantastic. With improvements to the lifts and housekeeping timing, this would easily be a 5-star hotel.
