We enjoyed 5 nights in a Grand Villa. We had an awesome stay. The staff were extremely friendly and always greeted us with a smile at the start and end of our day! Loved the private villa and pool. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the restaurant or in your villa which is nice. Mini bar items are also included which was a nice touch. The location is very central with plenty of restaurants, massage places and shops right outside your door.
Where to start. As a couple that has travelled a fair bit over their years we can not speak highly enough of this absolutely brilliant resort. It lived up to all of our expectations and then some. After reading many reviews over the past 12 months if was indeed what fellow travellers had experienced. The staff were the friendliest people on the planet, the service top notch and the view from our seaview villa was unbelievable. Our villa 8843 was the second highest villa and had no villa to the left of us - fantastic privacy and view to the beach and to the ocean. Stay in this villa as it is exceptional. It is a steep walk to the villa which we used to get some daily exercise. Once at the villa you then arrive to air-conditioned comfort and your plunge pool. For those who would prefer not to walk there is always a buggy waiting to transport you. The mini-marts that are part of the sister resort have local beers, spirits and a selection of wines as well as snacks and souvenirs that are at good prices. We purchased our drinks on a daily basis and ordered ice buckets twice a day to keep our drinks ice cold. The Shores and the sister resort restaurants are to die for especially the Thai restaurant Chanadda. Best Thai food that we have ever eaten. If you are going to have spa treatments go to the Shores Serenity Spa - yes it may be expensive but the attention to detail is fantastic. I run on average 100km a week and the sports massage was the best I have ever had.
