Really nice hotel close to the station and the Maroot shopping building. Rooms were clean and I particularly liked the shower/bath room. Like quite a few Japanese hotels, the shower and bath (while in the same room) are separate. That means while you shower the bath can be filling up. It gives you the Japanese option of washing yourself clean in the shower and then getting into a hot bath to relax straight away.
Breakfast was also great - unlike most hotels, someone takes you to your table first so it’s reserved for you. That totally avoids the hassle of getting your food on a tray, and then having to search for a table as happens elsewhere. Food selection
was excellent - both Western and Japanese options, and they can cook a Japanese omelette for you on demand. Many drink options as well at breakfast.
Staff were helpful - at checkout, checkin, answering my questions and helping forward luggage. Staff at Reception spoke English.
3 combination washer/dryers and for a combined wash/dry cycle it took 2 hours - albeit thats relatively typical.
You need a room card for both the room and the lift, but unlike other hotels you
don’t need to put it in a slot in the wall to put the power on.
Wifi was perfect, and the aircon could be manually controlled. One hotel chain I stayed at last year wouldn’t let you fully control the aircon, but this hotel
does so it’s ideal from that perspective.
Overall a strong recommend from
me for this hotel.
