I stayed at this hotel with my three children in a twin room. We arrived early (around 9.30am) and were able to leave our luggage before returning for 2pm check-in. They did ask if we wanted to check in to an already available room, but it was an extra $150, so we decided to just leave the bags and wait.
We loved the pool (and the fact that it is open from 5am-10pm was a plus) and there were always dry towels available. The room itself wasn’t huge, but had a nice area with a couch and we had a bit of a view of the city. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was nice and simple, you could tell it had been updated in the past few years.
The mini bar is empty - you just order from the room service menu - which wasn’t an issue for us, but I would have liked some other herbal tea options in the room.
The location was great for us, it’s only a short (but hilly) walk from Central Station and was quite close to the Riverside ferry terminal as well. Once we had navigated the best way to get to and from the hotel (the underpass/overpass situation was a bit confusing at first) we found it quite easy to get out and about.
