"Great little motel with fantastic steakhouse "
My husband, myself and our 16year old had the perfect overnight stay at this motel. Would definitely stay again and what made our stay perfect was having the steakhouse right next door. After a long days drive it was so relaxing to have that facility available. I recommend to book the restaurant in advance though as it is that good you wouldn't want to miss out!! All motel and restaurant staff were very welcoming and helpful. Thank you a High Street Motor Inn.

"5 star accom - 3 star cleanliness and presentation"
This is a beautiful cosy property, with a real country atmosphere. I am led to believe no shortage of bookings which may explain the slackness in personal presentation and lack of cleanliness for a 5 star appointed property. Disappointed that the room had dust and dirt on bedside tables, sills, lamp shade, mould in shower. Juice and milk was in original packaging, kitchen appliances where dusty rubbish in bin from previous night.
