Good hotel apart from the fire alarm
We checked in quickly with friendly and efficient staff. The hotel is clean, modern and so convenient for an early flight from Heathrow. But on reaching our room the fire alarm started. Then off. Then on. And eventually remained on. And it was chaos. Due to the alarm repeatedly being triggered most were now ignoring it. Others panicked and left the hotel in only bathrobes or PJs. No one took charge. No information was given. We all stood in the street waiting for the all clear to be signalled with many speculating that this was an alarm fault due to the length of time the alarm had been going on and off. Badly handled and after minimal sleep we started early and tired for our flight. No mention at check out of any form of compensation or even an apology. Poor service considering how disruptive this would have been to most of their customers staying here ahead of early flights.

Ideal for travelling
It's ideal for an overnight before or after travelling sadly the hotel doesn't provide any essential items as you'll find in other hotels - toothbrush, comb, etc so you do have to find your own - sad really that they don't do this. Room basic, some a long walk from the lifts. Upside is that it is a walk through to T4

had a booking of 2 adults and one child with extra sofa bed. checked in to find out that there was no extra bed set up for the little one. It was too late to ask for change of room or setup of the sofa bed, as we had to catch up early flight the next day. It was disgusted as we actually paid extra for that!
