The property is well kept. Very nice having it's own beach and pool. The Life's Too Short Bus is a plus along with the bike and scooter rentals. Free breakfast was not extravagant but nice to start your day (I enjoyed the perfectly cooked hardboiled eggs, yogurt, bagels and coffee). Key West has so much to see and do that we didn't spend much time at Ibis except for sleep and breakfast. Would like to kayak and/or JetSki in warmer weather next time.

Not impressed.
I’m not impressed. My husband and I we stayed the just one night. I was not expecting welcoming committee but I smile at the reception would be welcomed. That did not happen. The room and bathroom were very small. Shower faucet was leaking and an old shampoo cap was left on the rim of the shower cabin. Shuttle drivers were very friendly and informative.

Hard NO x1000!
This place is a HARD NO on so many levels - to call this outdated motel a resort is laughable - and then to charge an additional $50 resort fee at check-in is completely unwarranted. Staff was rude at check-in, the room is basic and outdated (the bed doesn't even have a headboard - weird), the "patio" is essentially the parking lot and it's on top of the next door guest, the walls are super thin and you can hear the traffic, neighboring guests and the dumpsters being emptied at sunrise, the "beach" is a strip of sand on the waterway that collects trash runoff, and the only thing edible at the continental breakfast is coffee. I also felt sorry for the animals on site in cages. The only good thing I can say about Ibis Bay is that it has a shuttle to/from downtown. We used it a few times and found it to be convenient. I don't have high standards, and I understand a relax-y Key West beach vibe, but this place is NO x1000.

Enjoyed the grounds- especially all the hammocks. Breakfast was good. Shuttle was very nice. Room was small but sufficient! We didn’t spend much time in it. Pool looked nice but we didn’t have time to use it.
