One of the best experiences in an inner city hotel. Perfect location, close to many types of eateries, easy walk to the CBD or Darlinghurst or Kings Cross. Room was perfect, fantastic size room with dining area, kitchen to cook in, comfortable bed. All you could ask for, reasonably priced, well serviced room. Will definitely be staying here again.

"Nice hotel,close to beach"
We really enjoyed our stay. It was winter thought, so I don't know really rats over summer. The spear bed is not to recommend and don't go everywhere with You finger trough about top cleanes .... But hygenic was satisfying enough. Staff very nice. When You r a smoker it is very difficult to figure out where smoker area is,cause I could not find it n there is a high fine for smoking everywhere. Was a bit disappointed that there was no fresh water in fridge, or any tea or cafe. But quiet, friendly, safe n drinks r available out from a machine by main Door. Thank u for not to high overnight price,we enjoyed our stay!

The Hughenden Boutique Hotel

"Revisiting The Hughenden"
I have stayed at The Hughenden several time over the last 8 or so years - but most recently in 2012. I have always felt a deal of warm anticipation about returning to this lovely establishment. I love its rambling, rabbit warren and well worn feel. Lots of 'secret' staircases, creaky floorboards, doors that say "come on inside and have a peek - you'll get a surprise in here!" The staff feel like old friends and always make you feel welcome and greet you as if you are returning home after a stay away. However this arrival was different. I opened the front door - oh my goodness, what has happened - polished floor boards, smartly refurbished furniture and freshly painted walls and an air of rejuvenation and proud bristle. I felt like I had walked into a smart boutique hotel! And that can be scary!! But any apprehension soon faded away as Adriana greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile. My check in was efficient and prompt. Bus information provided without fuss. Adriana showed me to my room (26) - 'Joy of Joys' this was a room that I had wished so often to see inside - to stay in. It looked so appealing from the outside and did not disappoint inside. So fresh, clean, and ticked all my boxes of what I required and wanted in a room. How lucky was that???? So I immediately got off to a fabulous start to my 2 night stay at My Hughenden!

The Bayswater Sydney

17 Bayswater Road, Kings Cross, Potts Point - Map
"Loved It! "
I bought a 2 night mystery deal and it turned out to be the Bayswater Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great especially if you want to party in the cross and get to Central quickly. $14 taxi ride to Central and 2 streets away from the kings cross trains station. With a taxi rank out the front. The beds were comfy and the room was dark and quiet. we drove there and parked in the kings cross carpark. The carpark was a 5 minute walk to the hotel and cost $20 a day if you get your ticket validated within the hotel. If you're driving into Sydney it was easy to find. I would stay there again.

Regents Court Sydney

"Nice Quiet hotel in a central area of Sydney. "
Quiet, hassle-free check-in. Would have been nice if WIFI had been working better. I could connect but it was spotty and on the second day, only found a note advising of problems with the system late in the day. The hotel building was quite interesting .... though my shower was missing a few small tiles and it would have been nice to have had a bathtub. The higher promoted roof garden could use some maintenance and sprucing up. All in all it was good value for money ... but that is because I got a special "mystery hotel" deal which made it good. IF I was paying full price, I don't think I would have been quite as pleased on the "value for money" front. The little cul-de-sac of a street leading up to it was quite charming.
