On the website a message popped up when I had completed my booking that a confirmation email had been sent to my email address. I never received any email from you confirming my booking.

I wanted three separate rooms and I couldn’t see on the website that I could book the extra rooms in the one booking. I didn’t want a three room apartment. I wanted three separate rooms. I was forced to make three separate bookings.

I received two text messages confirming two of the bookings but nothing for the third booking at all, no text message and no email for any of the bookings.

I had to get my daughter to search and make sure that the third booking was in fact on your records. She was able to establish that it was even though I hadn’t received any text message or emails.

When I made each booking I made a note of each Wotif Itinerary Number. Lucky that I did that.

What is particularly disturbing is that my daughter found the identical three rooms for the same hotel for the same night on Booking.com for a considerably cheaper price. Not a small amount of difference but a large amount of difference. I felt ripped off and cheated.

Many years ago my daughter worked part time at Wotif in their call centre in Brisbane whilst she was studding at university. I was then doing quite a lot of travel and I always used Wotif, well before my daughter started working for them.

I am very disappointed.
