I had booked 1 nights stay at a GC hotel as a present for my sons birthday. After booking I received an email saying there was nothing more to do, no need to call to confirm booking etc etc etc. So I mentally locked that away in the “sorted” pile. So you can imagine I was shocked on the day of checkin (with husband + 2 kids) to be told by the hotel checkin staff Wotif had cancelled the reservation the day after I had booked it. We were away from home with no where to stay. What a disaster. I have no confidence in booking with wotif again.
