The prices are only in Australian dollars even though one of the payments I have to make to the apartment is in Euros (it is listed as a $A50 payment instead of 50Euros). It is not clear if the apartment is fully paid as the small print talks about additional payments that the apartment might impose. I couldn’t find anywhere to change all payments to Euros so I would know what I am paying.
i will go back to Booking.com next time.

I made a booking for 12 – 13 January at discounted price of $106 per night.
Confirmation came through almost immediately but it was for 1-2 January. Following the advice provided by Wotif, I cancelled the original booking and re-book at which point the rate changed to $124 per night. Still accepted the booking but a bit disappointed.

Need to actually visit accommodation places every now and again to see what they are like and what is going on.
For example the place this booking was for requests payment at time of booking, then when you get there you are told that is a preauthority that he will release and requests (no demands) you pay again.
So you end up paying again and having to wait for the preauthorisation to release back your account, which does not take one day like he tells you………especially over Christmas and New Year period.

I will have to wait to see if I actually get my Refund from the Site Error that occurred during my booking.

If that occurs I will be more appreciative; however due to the site error, I did not go to Melb for the new years Eve Fireworks with my children which as extremely dissappointing for us all.

I booked a room with breakfast only the kitchen is closed so no breakfast or restaurant available. Should have been able to see that. Requested refund.
Also you need to show smoke free properties and ideally be able to search where you can smoke outside. My husband smokes and getting really hard to tell if they are smoke free properties

Need better clarity on pricing. A summary of cost was displayed before you give ok for payment. Additional charges are applied after ok for payment not giving an option to deny the additional charges. There were also no option to purchase travel insurance for reimbursement if traveller cannot make the flight due to unforeseen circumstances.

The room booked was not as per the pictures. The room was very outdated and the pictures on your site showed freshly painted and updated rooms. This was not what we received.
