I booked a flight, the departing airfare was taken out twice from my bank account, which put my account into arrears and I cannot access my own money. I am now trying to have the second payment reversed, with your staff telling me it’s only a pending transaction when in fact it is not as my money is not accessable to me because you have a pending transaction that I did not authorise (second payment). You need to change your systematic process. I have booked flights with wotif before and this has never happened so I am very disappointed and frustrated.

This was a duplicate booking because of an error message that the website was having problems processing the booking and to prrss the button again; only to create a double booking

Fix the email itinerary function on the website. I clicked on it 3 times over a one hour period and never received an emailed itinerary. A day later it worked.

I made a late booking and accidentally booked two units with 2 rooms rather than 1 unit with 2 rooms and was unable to get a refund so it was an expensive mistake

I preferred the old format where you could see a fortnight of prices for rooms and then plan best time to stay if you weren’t locked into set times

No one to greet. Left to own devices to find room with verbal instructions from pub staff after finding sign on wall to ring for service where I was looking for a button to push..
Then Ceiling fan was dirty to extent was afraid to use.
control for aircon was not remote and had to stand on something to reach it. It worked well.
extractor fan in bathroom had to almost stand on toilet to switch on and off. It was extremely noisy particularly when switching on.
Room had recently been pest controlled but carpet had not been cleaned or needed replacing if it is permanently marked where we walk.
Bed was comfortable and clean as well as bathroom although there bubbles on wall where a repaint was needed desperately and cracked tiles etc age related .
I am not a short person 5’5″ old measurements but am 79 years old. Loved outlook from window.
