We booked the Charters Towers Motel in Queensland through Wotif for an agreed sum of $220.00 and then we got a Tax Invoice from an organisation called Ross (from Frankston in Victoria) the sum of $224.95 and they have debited our card immediately for that sum.
This caused our Bank to suspend our Card for a “suspect” transaction, and we’ve had a lot of trouble sorting this out. Very unhappy with your service.

When I searched for accomodation I included 2 adults and 1 infant in my search terms. I then went booked a hotel, but for some reason, the infant was not included in the booking. I had to call the hotel directly and pay and extra $20 for a cot. I also never received a confirmation email and spent a solid hour searching through all my email accounts to find it before logging back into the site to retrieve my booking info.

I booked the hotel only to be contacted later by the hotel to say that they were full. Then I couldn’t cancel the booking on line and had to call the hotel again

I am not sure if the information was wot ifs fault or the motels. Motel advertised as having a coffee shop and 5 restaurants plus check in at 11.30am and office open from morning till 9 pm.

No coffee shop or restaurants. Check in was 2pm and office still not open by 2.05. Very impersonal attention when I rang office to check in and they gave me code for drop box to get keys.

Smell of mould in the room and very cold bathroom because exhaust fan blew air into room and not out of it. Amenities sufficient and priced accordingly.

When placing booking online the payment process never goes smoothly. Website function needs to be clearer on if booking has been lodged successfully. Site kept telling me to resubmit request so I had multiple bookings & payments for the holiday.
